Description
Please join the Empowering committee for our annual community service day at Northern Children's Services on Tuesday, September 23 from 5 to 7PM. This organization supports Philadelphia’s at risk youth, women, and their families. Northern Children's Services provides mother and baby care, safe residential care, and child welfare services.
We ask you to come bond with us as we volunteer with them for the evening. We will have a variety of projects including campus improvements and playing sports games with the children's program for those interested.
This project comes from the effort to support all women in our Philadelphia region beyond our PWC membership and to help create equality so more women may reach their professional dreams and join us as PWC.
The local Philadelphia nonprofit, Northern Children's Services supports Philadelphia’s at-risk youth, women, and their families through a number of unique services, including mother and baby care, safe residential care, and child welfare services.
We had the honor of volunteering with them last year; and, we have graciously been invited back because of the great impact we made to their community!

This is a member-only event.
Please come dressed for clean-up, painting, gardening, etc. Wear study clothes and shoes.

Limited parking is available at the back 423 Righter Street entrance. There is limited on site parking. There is also street parking outside of the campus. Please car pool if possible.
