Storytelling: Pecha Kucha
The storytelling series this year is branching out to hear the voices and perspectives of our members by inviting you to develop your own Pecha Kucha style presentation to share with PWC members and guests.
Pecha Kucha is a fun storytelling presentation format where individuals create PowerPoint style presentations with little to no words on the slides, 20 slides, 20 second each slide.
Members can sign up for the workshop to be trained in this unique presentation style and then present on their chosen topic. The grand event on November 11th will bring our community together to hear your stories.
Our annual storytelling event is hosted by the Learning Committee in November for both members and nonmembers. This year, the format is changed for a creative Pecha Kucha storytelling session. This will be a fun new way to learn more about our individual lives and what matters most as women in construction -- Please join us!
Reach out to learning@pwc-philly.org if you are interested in presenting but unfamiliar with the Pecha Kucha format -- we will help you feel confident that you got this!
For Pecha Kucha presenters, an optional workshop will be offered prior to November 11 to help you create your presentation. Details to follow.
