2026 Annual Empowering Day of Service

Description

Please join the Empowering committee for our high-impact annual community service day at Northern Children's Services (NCS) on Tuesday, September 1 from 5 to 7PM. 

NCS supports Philadelphia’s at-risk youth, women, and their families through unique services like mother and baby care, safe residential care, and child welfare services. This will be our third year volunteering at the NCS campus. 

Come prepared to help with a variety of projects and campus improvements. In past years, PWC members have helped with painting, basement clean out, gardening, and beyond. Please dress accordingly! 

We'll gather in the main building, have some snacks, and review available tasks and roles.

Limited parking is available in the rear of the campus via the Righter Street entrance. There is also street parking available. Please carpool if possible.
