Storytelling: Pecha Kucha

The storytelling series this year is branching out to hear the voices and perspectives of our very own members! We invited members to develop their very own Pecha Kucha style presentations to share with PWC members and guests. We have a fun line up of more than 10 pecha kucha stories for you to enjoy.

What is a Pecha Kucha?

Pecha Kucha is a fun storytelling presentation format where individuals create PowerPoint-style presentations with little to no words on the slides, 20 slides, 20 second each slide. So each presentation is less than 7 minutes, short, colorful, and makes a punch.


5:00-5:15pm: Mingle

5:15-6:05pm: Presenters 1- 6

6:05-6:15pm: Break

6:15-6:56pm Presenters 7-11

6:56-7:00pm: Closing Remarks


Our annual storytelling event is hosted by the Learning Committee in November for both members and nonmembers. This year, the format is changed for a creative Pecha Kucha storytelling session. This will be a fun new way to learn more about our individual lives and what matters most as women in construction -- Please join us!
